CENTRAL REGIONAL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
What is it?
The State Qualification Testing serves as a qualification round to advance to the New Jersey State Leadership Conference (SLC). Any student/team achieving a score in the Top 5 in the New Jersey Southern Region in their competitive event will advance to the SLC. The Top 8 will be given awards at the New Jersey Central Regional Leadership Conference (CRLC). After all New Jersey HOSA members finish their testing, the Central Regional Leadership Conference occurs. A guest speaker attends and speaks to members on certain topics typically pertaining to the medical industry and life lessons, and is followed by a relaxing downtime session. Towards to the end of the day, awards are given to each competitive event’s Top 8 participants and the Top 5 later advance to compete in the SLC.
