STATE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
What is it?
The New Jersey State Leadership Conference, also known as States or SLC, is an annual conference where all New Jersey HOSA chapters gather to take full advantage of HOSA's Competitive Events and Recognition Events. To participate in SLC, you or your team MUST score in the Top 5 in the New Jersey Southern Region. Elections for the new State Executive Council are also held, and multiple scholarships are awarded. Members are also given the opportunity to network with one another. They receive quality advice from a guest speaker and participate in entertaining downtime activities. When the conference comes to an end, awards are given to each event's Top 5 participants, however, only the Top 3 advance to the International Leadership Conference (ILC), and the new council is officially inducted through an exciting Candle lighting ceremony.

Costs
The total cost of attendance for the New Jersey State Leadership Conference is [TBD].

All attendees are responsible for purchasing their own HOSA Uniform and other required attire — please check General Competitions Info to see the dress code.
Forms & Payments
All members that are participating in SLC will be given forms via email.

The payments for SLC MUST be written in a check made out to Piscataway BoE, "SLC 25" along with 'your student ID, initials' must go in the memo field.
